Time Speeding Up

Do you sense that time is speeding up? The pace and intensity of change, particularly technological, ecological and psychological is accelerating at unprecedented rates.

This week I was exposed to information about the Mayan calendar that suggests, not time, but consciousness is evolving quickly. Information and understanding that may have surfaced over centuries and decades in the past, are now literally being revealed in days. Evolving consciousness, not time is advancing, speeding up.

Is there no wonder that we're experiencing major shocks on the planet and rapid shifts in our lives. Therefore, it should come as no surprise that structures and systems that are no longer viable against the backdrop of these changes, are breaking down and dissolving, doing so to make space for the "emergent or evolving"....new possibilities and paradigms of governance and sustainability, both personal and collective.

For me, these are amazing times to be alive, part of a global shift in consciousness. Nonetheless, many of us feel bombarded and thrown off center, in the turbulence of fear, unfamiliarity and uncertainty----and that doesn't feel good.

The key to getting through these changing times is to adapt, release, create and grow. This means tapping into our Higher Power, our intuition, spontaneity and creativity. I look forward to sharing ways that we can do this, individually, collectively and globally. Meanwhile, lets practice giving thanks, noticing the small things and accepting everyday blessings.

Choice Point: A Higher Vibration Part II

Some people say that 2012 marks the beginning of the 5th world and that NOW is the time to connect our Light to strengthen and sustain a higher vibration for ourselves and our planet.

What might this higher vibration feel like? How might it be expressed?

Many leaders in the growing conscious evolution movement believe that a shift in cosmic consciousness generated by simultaneous alignment between and among people globally, through universal shared intention, sound vibration, meditation, and more is a key step.

Personally, I'm excited and encouraged by the deepening awareness that our way through the end of this current cycle and successful transition into the next cycle and new world, calls for an evolving spiritual consciousness that accepts that we are indeed all One, intimately and indelibly connected; and calls for a divine covenant of love, peace and harmony that we must continue to cultivate and live by, if indeed we are to thrive and flourish as a human species on this ever-evolving planet.

Imagine a world in which we lived in peace with one another and in harmony with Mother Earth and all her inhabitants.

Is it possible that we could create such a world?

I sincerely believe that it's time to join with heart-centered others of evolving spiritual consciousness to lift our own spiritual vibrations by choosing to meditate, chant, sing or tone, dance, create art, tell stories, do ritual, plant and eat food together, live and work cooperatively, release material excess, share more of our gifts, nurture ourselves, each other and Mother Earth, and above all...listen to and learn from our elders and our children, for they are wise.

We are at the threshold, at a unique turning point. Will we choose to create the best of all possible worlds now?

For each of us, this is the choice point. Let us vision together and together, emerge into our greatest potential as pioneers, scientists and artists of the new world, and co-create the best of all possible worlds, now........

Choice Point: A Higher Vibration

Are you aware that we are at a critical choice point in the evolution of the human species on planet earth?
At this very moment, we have the power to self-extinct or self-evolve?

We are at the threshold of the year 2012. Some have said that 2012 marks the end of the world; Armageddon or Apocalypse. Others call it the Second Coming of Christ or the Day of Judgement. Frightening doomsday scenarios accompany these beliefs, generally perceived as inevitable. Indeed we see the breakdown of political, religious, education, economic systems and financial institutions that are no longer viable or sustainable. We also see the desperate efforts of those who are holding on, resisting change, emphatically trying to maintain the status quo, at any cost.

Are you experiencing the disintegration of things in your life? Are you trying to hold on, or are you learning to let go?

In addition we're experiencing the impacts of global warming through increasingly dramatic climate shifts and natural disasters. Witness the 2004 tsunami that hit Indonesia, Hurrican Katrina, devastating earthquakes in China and Haiti, the volcanic eruption in Iceland that disrupted international air traffic for more than a week, and the Gulf Oil catastrope that is destroying an entire ecosystem and way of life......... Weather patterns in this country and throughout the world are no longer predictable.

Does it feel to you like the world is ending?

In the midst of this, organic and collective movements are emerging around the world, organized around issues of social, economic and environmental justice; the redistribution of natural resources that support local economies, more women in leadership. In the US, we see a growing green economy, as well as more charter schools, community gardens, farmer's markets, co-housing....all grassroots efforts that are re-inventing conscious community. In addition, growing numbers of influential people in the arts, entertainment and sports are partnering with organizations and causes that seek to overcome health, education and economic disparities and help improve the quality of life for marginalized people and communities.

Finally, we cannot overlook the accelerating global impact of technology, specifically the prolific rise of social media networks like FACEBOOK, twitter, ning, youtube, plus Maestro Conference, that are bringing together people of diverse cultures, religions and even languages, into dialogue and collective action. In my mind, these are some of the signs of positive change...of people coming together for a greater good.

Stay tuned for Part II of Choice Point.....
